Random Autumn Beauty

             Hello everyone,

  I hope you had a good week and I am

 sure you are looking forward to the 

weekend now.

I am sharing some random autumn

beauty today.

I like the autumn light in the shot above

of the Canada geese that we saw in Maine.

                                                       The cottages of Cabot Cove where we have
                                                        stayed in the past in Kennebunkport Maine.
                                                        They are quaint and cozy.

                                      We are almost done of our fall cleanup.

                                      Vesey's have their blowout sale on their

                                  bulbs and leftover perennials so I had a

                                             fun shopping spree but tried to keep reminding

                                   myself that I had to find a space to plant

                                           them and then dig and plant. Ah! but think of

      the beauty next spring!

                                                       It must be time for a cup of tea on
                                                                  our autumn porch.....don't you think!

Autumn Reflections

Hello everyone,

As I mentioned in my last post, we went on a

short holiday to Kennebunkport, Maine.

We enjoyed beautiful autumn colors on the

10 hour drive from our home to 

Kennebunkport and of course there

as well.

While out walking or going for a short drive

I enjoyed capturing some pretty autumn

reflections.

                                               We have gone to Kennebunkport several times
                                               before and it is beautiful in all seasons.

                                                          This was the view from our patio.

                                                               We enjoy long walks around the small
                                                                town and this time we bicycled through
                                                               it as well on a beautiful sunny day.

                                                   We enjoyed our holiday and now
                                                              are ready to put our garden to bed for
                                                              the winter and then snuggle in by the
                                                              fire on these long cozy evenings.

Autumn Light in our Library

                                                                                 Hello everyone,

                                                               Sometime in September I notice that
                                                               the light has changed in our library as it
                                                               seems to have a warm golden glow that
                                                               signals autumn.
                                                         

                                                                  I have a small collection of dogs....
                                                                  not live ones but these cute little
                                                                 ones. They are always well behaved !

                                                                Time to welcome autumn.

                                                 Well, now that  autumn is almost  here I
                                                            am looking forward to enjoying enjoying
                                                            all that it has to offer.......beautiful fall
                                                           colors,walks in the crisp fresh air, cozy
                                                           sweaters,hot apple cider,and a good
                                                           book or two by the fireside in the long
                                                           evenings.
