Visions of Spring

          Sunday Blessings,

Well, with spring just around the corner,
I have some visions of spring dancing
in my head!

This is our Hillside Garden
in spring.

             Early spring in Martha's Garden.
Martha preside in here all year long.

A spring tea with a colorful
handmade quilt.

              A cheerful garden vignette.

                                                                               Another spring tea.
I love hyacinths they add so
                             much fragrange to the garden.

The Hillside Garden has so much
color in spring time.

"And then my heart with pleasure fills,
and dances with the daffodils"
~ William Wordsworth~

In spring I love lots of color.

Let's end with a cup of spring
                                                                  time tea, shall we?

I am going to curl up with a few garden
books and magazines for awhile before
                                                                 going to visit our daughter.

Hope you have a good week!

                                                                                                     Carolyn

Touches of Pink Tablescape

                  Hello everyone,

I hope your week is going well.
Spring is definitely in the air here,
and our little sun room is warm and
cheerful on these sunny almost spring
days.

So, let's relax and enjoy a
            casual lunch using my dainty
    rosebud pattern dishes.

Touches of pink.

I have a pretty good collection
of these dainty dishes at yard sales
and second hand stores.

        Soft & sweet.

Cupcakes and Tea

           Hello everyone,

I just came in from a walk through
our woods on this windy March
day. So now I will enjoy a nice
cup of tea before doing some
chores.

         Cupcakes will go nicely
with my tea today.

                                                                             A dainty rosebud tea cup.

                                                                              Add some pretty pink
                                                                              tulips.

I hope all is well with you
and that you enjoy
something wonderful
today!

Take care,

       Happy Weekend!

I hope you are enjoying a
happy weekend.
Even though it is cold here this
weekend we know that spring
is on the way and next weekend
we move our clocks ahead so the
evenings are brighter.

Anyway, I have some pretty bouquets
for you to enjoy.

The photo above was taken on our
trip to England a few years ago in
Chipping Camden.

                                                                      Looking forward to the return
                                                                      of our spring garden.Daffodils
                                                                      are so cheerful.
                                                                          A simple bouquet of
                                                                          peonies from our garden.
They bloom here in June and July.
Some English roses from our garden
  with a pink hydrangea.

You can never get tired of
                                                                         peonies.

                                                                             I love lilacs too.
                                                                                Hyacinths in an old
                                                                                transferware pitcher.

                                                               Roses, carnations and tulips.

Not sure which I love the most....
the transferware pitcher of the
beautiful peonies.

And roses....who doesn't love
a bouquet of roses???

   A late summer bouquet from
our garden with a transferware tea.

Thank you for your visit!

Red & White Transferware Tablescape

                  Hello everyone,

We have had a return to winter today but
a nice cozy lunch by the bay window will
be relaxing and cheerful.

I am using some of my
                                                                      red and white transferware
                                                                      today.
I love this soup tureen that
was a thrift shop find.

A bouquet of tulips and carnations
are always a welcome addition to
the table.

                                                                                       Mason ~ Vista teacups.

                                                                        A little display of transferware.

                                                           A antique pitcher set with
a pretty bouquet of roses for
                                                                     you before I go.

Hope you have a lovely day!
